Love – Trusting in the Indescribable

Did you know that love is something that you can't see or hear or feel with your hands, but it's something that is so powerful that it can fill your life to brimming if you have it, or it can crush your soul from the absence of it? It is so magnificent that our very being cries out to live and breathe in it. I think we were made to give love and to receive love. I’ve decided that I like being loved. It feels better and more natural to be loved and held than it does to be yelled at and hurt. I believe that God is happier when we feel full of love. People that hurt aren't in touch with their true selves like God intended for them to be. Love makes me feel gentle inside.  It feels right, like that's who I was supposed to be.  I feel surprised because I feel good when I have a gentle spirit feeling.  It doesn't feel weak like I thought it would. It feels perfect like I'm a contented kitten blissfully purring and relaxing under love's gentle hand. Isn't it amazing to contemplate how the most important thing in the world isn't tangible? Do you suppose it's God's proof that sometimes you have to trust in the intangible?

Did you ever wonder at the imagination of God that He could think up rainbows? And also stars and waterfalls and sounds that are beautiful and that stir the emotions and make you smile or cry? I think our God is a marvelous God and we are able to see the truth of this in everything He created, from the fresh and vibrant colors such as sunsets and flowers, to the touch and feel of every living thing, from the bark of a strong tree to the delicate petal of a rose. I'm absolutely awestruck at the beauty of nature. Before His incarnation Jesus was the Master Painter and Creator of all of this. He was God's indescribable love to each of us.
