Thousands of innocent children have had their lives shattered by growing up in Worldwide Church of God*, Philadelphia Church of God, or another abusive offshoot. Their writings, poems and testimonies reveal their pain, guilt, anguish and fears as they struggle to rebuild their lives. We dedicate these pages to them in order that they might receive validation, hope and encouragement on the path of recovery and to know they are not alone.

*Worldwide Church of God changed their name in the United States in 2009 to Grace Communion International. WCG's splinter groups now number in the hundreds. Some of the well known ones are: Philadelphia Church of God, Restored Church of God, Living Church of God, United Church of God-AIA, The Church of God-PKG, Church of God's Faithful, Intercontinental Church of God, and Christian Biblical Church of God.
