Stories About Philadelphia Youth Camp

PYC is the youth camp of Philadelphia Church of God. Patterned after Herbert Armstrong's S.E.P., it is structured in military fashion with methods of mind control. While the camp is purported to be "developing Godly personality," the methods used are seen as emotionally, physically, spiritually and psychologically abusive and aimed at molding the attendees into becoming "obedient, passive members" of the Philadelphia Church of God.

PYC is located in Edmond, Oklahoma, but PCG also has camps in Australia and the Philippines.

Countless individuals have suffered needlessly, even to this day, from growing up in an abusive, deceptive, pseudo religious organization.
