I am 28 years old, and I have been saved about three years. I was born and raised and brainwashed in the Worldwide Church of God. I'm sure you hear plenty of stories and sometimes I would like to just--I don't know--scream maybe. My father and his side of the family go to the Living Church of God, my mother left my father and committed adultery with someone in the WCG. He attends another Church of God offshoot. My brother cannot stand churches and my youngest brother of twelve is totally brainwashed. Worst of all, my sister of 26 is in, along with my grandparents, Philadelphia Church of God. I go to a non-denominational Christian church. I really don't know what to do as far as witnessing to my family. 

I never knew about Herbert Armstrong and his dealings. Of course, all things were kept from us "little people." I was put out of the "church" when I became pregnant out of wedlock with a black child. Can you imagine the "love" I received when I needed it the most?! Needless to say, God has been with me. But there are times when I think, am I really doing the right thing? But I go back to Jesus, my Lord and Savior, and He lets me know I am. God is good. My life is in His hands.
