All in the Name of Jesus

pink rose

Truth and mercy and happiness
It's all in the name of Jesus
Help and heaven, peace and rest
It's all in the name of Jesus

Joy and gladness, forgiveness, too
Life everlasting and free
All that I've longed for and all I need
It's all in the name of Jesus

Care and comfort, healing and grace
It's all in the name of Jesus
Welcome, pardon, abiding place
It's all in the name of Jesus

Warmth and sunshine, friendship true
Fulfillment and blessings untold
Hope for tomorrow and help for today
It's all in the name of Jesus

Refrain:

Jesus, Jesus
He's here and He'll show you the way
Jesus, Jesus
He's all that you need today

                                                                       By Stephen Adams

Note: The above song is very beautiful. I heard it played on C.C. Whittington's radio program years ago.

                  How Sweet the Name of Jesus Sounds

     How sweet the name of Jesus sounds
     In a believer's ear!
     It soothes his sorrow, heals his wounds,
     And drives away his fear

     It makes the wounded spirit whole
     And calms the troubled breast;
     'Tis nourishment to hungry souls,
     And to the weary rest.

     Jesus! my Savior, Shepherd, Friend,
     My Prophet, Priest, and King,
     My Lord, my Life, my Way, my End,
     Accept the praise I bring.

     Weak is the effort of my heart,
     And cold my warmest thought;
     But when I see Thee as Thou art,
     I'll praise Thee as I ought.

                   More About Jesus Would I Know

        More about Jesus would I know;
        More of His grace to others show;
        More of His saving fullness see,
        More of His love who died for me
.

        More about Jesus let me learn,
        More of His holy will discern;
        Spirit of God, my teacher be,
        Showing the things of Christ to me.

        More about Jesus; in His word,
        Holding communion with my Lord;
        Hearing His voice in every line,
        Making each faithful saying mine.

        More about Jesus on His throne,
        Riches in glory all His own;
        More of His kingdom's sure increase;
        More of His coming, Prince of Peace.
