Sometimes we that have survived an abusive, soul-damaging experience express more freely our feelings through poems or free verse. I hope that you will find comfort and peace through these poems and know that Jesus truly understands and cares.

Comforting Words About the True God

Comfort in Music

Reading through the words of sacred hymns has a way of speaking to many of us in a special way of Jesus and His love. Let these words comfort you and encourage you. If the reader has a chance to listen to the music of any of these songs, they will also understand how beautiful the melody is.

C. C. Whittington, a dear saint of God, ministered to me in a wonderfully healing way after I exited the WCG through the beautiful music he played on his radio program. He passed away on 11-13-00 at the age of 84. His AM radio program "Hymns and Gospel Songs for All Churches" started in 1952 and continued until April 2002. I am so thankful that the music was able to be heard as long as it was.
