| A minister that speaks the Word
of God should live a life that God intends them to live, not a life full
of lies to gain money for his own intentions, not living in a home worth
millions while he couldn't care less about the starvation of the
people! If we did that, they would say we are the lost ones!
The THREE tiered tithing
system made me realize that so much. People could not even take
care of their own families because they gave their all to the church.
Well, what about their physical families on earth? Don't people
realize that God would have wanted them to take care of their families
first? (I
Timothy 5:8)
When the Worldwide
Church of God was attacked many times, they sure had a way out. They
had money to buy themselves out! A lot of X-WWCGers don't have
that kind of money to buy themselves out. So they cannot
defend themselves. Money buys it all! And a lot of X-WWCGers
do not have the funds to compete with WWCG.
In all honesty I don't think ESN is doing wrong by
exposing
WWCG. For
one thing, if the Bible is true, a false minister can be proved because
if
his prophecies do not come true he a false prophet--and you should
not believe him. Well, WWCG had about 200 failed prophecies!1
I wish I knew that a long time ago!!! Someone told me that one day and
gave me the Scripture to prove it! I was out of the WWCG by then and it
stuck in my mind. Then I looked and proved it.
My husband and I spent eight
months, day and night, proving allegations into the WWCG and Herbert
Armstrong and what
the Bible says, and does not say, about tithing, the Holy Days, etc., and then we studied
Judaism, the calendar that the WWCG was using, the star of David, and many,
many other things which proved the WWCG and the
splinter groups were all
wrong--biblical proofs that they were wrong!
Why God would allow us or anyone to become a part of an organization
like
the WWCG is beyond me, or maybe God had nothing to do with it. Maybe it
was
just us! Maybe we were looking for something--the "truth"--and thought we
found it through Herbert W. Armstrong. I know now I was brainwashed in the true sense,
but you know what? All I had to do was prove it from the Bible instead
of taking their
word for it!!! But I didn't do that, so I let myself in to believing a
giant lie!!!! The proof is out there, just look for it.
Its hard to understand what we are to believe in at this time--maybe
one day we will get the answers--and when we do, I know we will
understand.
