David C. Pack is  a Madman

I was just reading the article on David Pack deeming himself an Apostle. Long story, short, my family were members of the Worldwide Church of God back in the early 80's. I had "dealings" with Mr. Pack even back then, but somehow always ended up blaming myself. After the WCG broke up [during the changes], we wandered aimlessly for years until we eventually just gave up on the WCG altogether.

After 10 to 12 years, we started searching for "the truth" again, and wound up in Mr. David Pack's Restored Church of God. I will not go into all the details as there are many. Around 4 to 5 months in, we were running to get out!

What prompted me to write was the thing he said in his article about no one leaving proves he's right. This is another lie. In fact, those are the sermons he was giving when we left! Make no mistake that he really is a madman. When we left, we actually began to fear for our lives. He would call us and put us on conference call with his little demon protégé, Mr. Turk, and they would demand that we confess that they were superior and we were garbage. His whole family is power happy as you watch them all sit in the front row every week. They would take turns guarding the halls and question you as to why you were going to the bathroom. They don't just follow Herbert Armstrong, they literally worship him. When you first walk into the assembly room, there is a shrine of Herbert Armstrong, with statues and pictures, as well as other "memorabilia" all over the place. This was one of the many things we began to notice that was in direct conflict of God's teachings that they did or taught. Of course it was all okay, since Mr. Pack "allowed" it.

My family learned the most valuable lesson that year we will have ever learned. We follow God and all his teachings, but most emphatically, we do not follow or trust man. "Prove all things" is something everyone in any church should first and always do. --
