NOTE: Curses are contracts or requests to evil power for injury or evil to befall someone or something. They can be spoken words, incantations, or prayers that invoke evil spirits to do their evil work. A curse is also a ban or censure over a person, place or thing. A curse cannot come upon a child of God who is resting on the Word of God and who walks in the righteousness of Christ. You have the power and authority through the Blood and name of Jesus to cancel any curses or spells that have been sent against you. Because of Calvary, the power of Satan has been broken. All demons have already been conquered in Christ. Liberation is not a result of how much one may struggle, pray or resist, but is because of Christ Jesus alone.

If you have never trusted Jesus as your personal Savior and want to receive eternal life, you may come to Him now. It is through His name that you can be delivered from the power of darkness and have all curses broken. 

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You as Your child, born again, redeemed and washed in the Blood of Jesus. I declare that You, Jesus, have redeemed me from the curse of the law having become a curse for me. I proclaim that I am a partaker of the inheritance of the saints of God. I ask to be redeemed and cleansed from all curses that have come upon me from any occult, cultic, satanic or psychic source. I renounce and reject every way in which Satan may try to claim ownership of me. I declare that I am totally committed and completely signed over to my Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks unto You, Father, for delivering me from all the powers of darkness and translating me into the kingdom of your dear Son. Amen.

Praying for those who are oppressed:

If you have been called upon to pray for someone who is under spiritual attack (and who has trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior), help them first to understand their victory through the Blood of Christ and that the battle has already been won. Assure them that they have been identified with Christ Jesus in his death, burial, resurrection and ascension, and have authority in the name of Jesus to be set free from any evil oppressions.
