| First, I want to mention that in
regards to Craig Winters being overbearing,
everything said on the PCG letters page is absolutely true.1 We were
close personal friends with the Winters and witnessed a lot. I am
wondering why the government does not step in and put a stop to their
totalitarian regime. Craig has a lot of people scared to death to think
for themselves and is very demeaning in his treatment of people. I have
watched him yell and belittle his wife right in front of people and it
is embarrassing to watch. But people take his example and think that
this is how you are supposed to be if you are a real man. His wife runs
around telling people that it is okay and that they should just be sweet
as pie and learn submission. While their husbands are developing no
character and treating them all like dogs.
Craig Winter's son, Jacob2,
went around telling people that his father spanks his wife. I know this
to be true because there was another case in Sacramento years ago when
he did not put a stop to a man there spanking his wife to the extreme!
She almost had her husband arrested to get him to stop! All the while
Craig stood by and did nothing to stop it.
People are made to feel like dirty pigs, but the leadership can do every filthy
thing that
comes to mind.
Anyway, we are so happy to be
out of there! It is really sad that things like
Georgina's
death [Georgina Sanders] go on all of the time in that church. I
wish the government would do something. But they won't until it is too
late as usual. There are a lot of good and innocent people in the PCG.
But the leaders ought to be gotten rid of or put in jail for theft and
abuse. Most of them [the members] would just find a similar church and
move on to that one. I don't think there is one quite as extreme as this
one though. The joke of it all is that these people in this particular
group don't usually live their religion at home. They think keeping the
Sabbath alone makes them righteous and that judging and treating people
like dogs is okay and even condoned in God's eyes.
