Letters to John S. Adams

John S. Adams, a reporter working on the changes within the Worldwide Church of God, contacted the Exit & Support Network for further information. He later wrote an article in The Baptist Bulletin: "The Plain Truth about the Worldwide Church of God," which showed he had decided that WCG was "on the right track" in spite of wondering if it was possible for a "cult" to be truly transformed by the truth. (We don't post his 3-page article as it can be found on other websites.)

Following is the correspondence between John Adams and the Exit & Support Network™.

Letter #1 to Adams from L. A. Stuhlman, ESN Founder & Editor of OIU Newsletters [all emphasis ours]:

Dear John,

Enclosed you will find a few tapes that offer different perspectives and documentation pertaining to the WCG. There is so much information available that would be helpful to your research and article, as the history and factual chronology is a bottomless pit for investigators.

You should read my letter to James Kennedy following his endorsement of the WCG. His ministry offers a WCG endorsement handout for those who request it. Kennedy's acceptance was most strange as he told me directly that he had little knowledge of cults and had no time for researching. He was taking the word of other ministries to back up his positions. He took Tkach's word at face value. Time and again the PR team which includes Joe Tkach Jr., Greg Albrecht and Mike Feazell contacts radio or newsprint media for interviews resulting in the interviewer accepting the cult leaders' words at "face value."

There are many big lies tied to the WCG transition, but some of the biggest BIG LIES are bulleted below:

  • They risked losing thousands of members and finances.

  • Herbert Armstrong requested that Tkach Sr. make doctrinal changes before his death.

  • PR men listed above had no idea they were preaching error for past years.

  • They can't be accountable for the "deceptive" transition because "they never did this before." (Tkach Jr. quote)

As I explained in the past on the phone, there were only about 30,000 members (man women and child) at the time of HWA's death. That membership continued to decline as the Armstrong cult lost its edge by early 1970s and never recovered. What masked as a church was a multi-million dollar real estate and investment empire hosted under a non-profit umbrella.

The deceptive marketing strategy was carried out starting 1988 time period and the main marketers at that time are now in charge of the major off-shoot, United Church of God. That break away took the bulk of WCG members (18,000 approx.) leaving WCG a little membership shell free to propagate a massive distraction from the real corporate agenda carried by power and wealth.

Please note also that the WCG organization is saturated with massive corruption, sexual atrocities (many ministers included), fraud, legal injustices, deaths, suicides, and abuses of every kind. No explanation can be too harsh. The very men in charge today were part of the ruination of thousands of lives and responsible for countless deaths. It was (and continues in many WCG related arenas) a Holocaust. The Tkach regime attempts to revise and discard the real truth about who "they" are, and the actual history behind the WCG.

It is so difficult for Christian on-lookers to discern the whole story when they are in toward the end of the movie. Few can or are willing to put the extensive time commitment needed into getting to the bottom of the truth behind the transition. I can empathize and understand how difficult it is for individuals in your position with limited knowledge and affiliation with the WCG, but the behavior of the main propagandists like Hank Hanegraaff, Ruth Tucker, Watchman Fellowship, Azusa, Fuller, and others, is absolutely inexcusable.

The ESN has never asked any researcher to take our investigative/research position or opinion, but we have prayerfully pleaded with the Tkach propagandists, not to endorse or accept the WCG at face value and without a major critical investigative pursuit of the inside organization and the men in sheep's clothing. Time and again, that plea was ignored. Time and again we asked, "What is the rush, thousands of spiritual lives are stake with such a rush to judgment?" It's been a vanity race with many in the running to get their name in print endorsing the heretics. It didn't take long for many of us to learn that the great dollar and payoffs to the propagandists was the issue--not Jesus Christ.

I could go on and on, but you can get a good general idea of the deception just by reading the letters on the Webpage. The Webpage offers just a few letters, we have so much more. Again, the ESN is fully loaded with more information and documentation than any one person could ingest in a lifetime, but at least know there is much more available.

Several of us have traveled the country obtaining much of the investigative documents we have on hand. It will all be said at the right time, God willing. The ESN has committed thousands of dollars and countless time in hope of justice. The real story behind the event is that this is one of the most deceptive maneuvers under the guise of Christianity. And as I said, hold on to your hat because the cults are far smarter than Christ's (true) churches and are run by psychopathic leaders managed by the Great Architect of this World, Satan. It is we who must hold on to Christ and know He WILL overcome the deceivers in His time.

God's blessings with your writing and know we are thankful your research shows the "case is not closed" yet! I personally hope you are inspired to continue digging at the WCG. It is a gold mine of Christian service just waiting to happen. The real story must be told; and the writings, done correctly, is actually Hollywood material--no pun intended. Sadly, Christian love is dominated by the almighty buck these days and we have witnessed an atrocity under the name of Jesus Christ.

Blessings to you and your family,

L. A. Stuhlman

PS Any questions about anything on the tapes, call me or email. I will be away until next Thursday but will get back to you right away.
Tapes
Four Square Gospel (Tkach meets with Pentecostals--members not aware)
Ministerial Conference 1995 (Tkach tells another story)
Tkach sermon--Feast of Tabernacles 1996
Tkach sermon--May 1997 (Esteems HWA as leader, spiritual founder, and inspired by God)
Rumors--a tape put together by an ex-member pointing out Tkach lies. This same line of tactic continues today. One lie heaped upon another lie until the members are in a trance or shutdown.
Ron Enroth discusses cults mainstreaming [tape*]. This is exactly what WCG has attempted to do. It is meeting success because of the major propagandists that have carried the strategy along.
Misc. print information.

All material presented to members is done with dialectics, double messages, and contradictions. This is one of the reasons why members don't know what in the world is going on, they just follow their leader.

*NOTE: "From Cult to Church: The Quest for Acceptance," by Dr. Ron Enroth, 1994. (If interested in the tape, email ESN, and ask for it by name. Please include your address on your email.)

Letter #2 from Adams to L. A. Stuhlman, ESN:

John Stuart Adams, 1039 State Route 49 Cleveland, NY 13042

July 10, 1997

Dear L. A.,

Thank you for speaking with me at length last week. I've since found your web page and begun reading all I can. I'm enclosing a letter to [worker in ESN] for you to forward and a check for your introductory kit.

You mentioned the possibility of my speaking with some ex-members. Feel free to pass along my name, address and phone number or send me theirs.

I'll look forward to hearing from you.

Respectfully yours,

John S. Adams

Letter #3 to D. Williams, ESN, from Adams:

John Stuart Adams, 1039 State Route 49 Cleveland, NY 13042

July 10, 1997

Dear D.,

I'm a reporter working on the changes that have been going on within the Worldwide Church of God. I read your letter on the ESN web page and have a few questions for you.

For your information the impulse for the article I'm working on arose because a local member of the WCG contacted an area Christian radio station with effusive praise for Joseph Tkach Jr. and the changes he's making.

I'm just trying to get the facts before I meet with this guy.

I take it from your letter you considered yourself a genuine believer while yet a member of the WCG. Is that so and do you think other members have authentic faith in Christ as well?

You were still a member of the WCG when Tkach's changes began. Do you think the changes are genuine and do you think the WCG is still a cult?

You said others have written about the psychological coercion you experienced as members. Does that coercion still exist in the new WCG?

How has the WCG changed? And how has it remained the same?

Please tell me specifically why you feel the way you do.

I may choose to quote you in my article. Revive, the magazine I'm writing for, is published in Central New York, Albany and Philadelphia. The article will appear here in CNY in the fall and should the editors choose in Albany and Philadelphia as well.

I may decide to write more on the subject and try to sell a story somewhere else, but don't have specific publications in mind yet.

Let me know how I can contact you if you feel comfortable speaking with me. I may have some follow-up questions especially after I meet these people.

God bless you,

John S. Adams

Letter #4 from ESN to Adams:

July 28, 1997

John S. Adams
1039 State route 49
Cleveland, NY 13042

Dear Mr. Adams:

I recently received your letter to me, which was forwarded by the Exit & Support Network. You stated that you read my letter on the ESN Web Page (to Janis Hutchinson?). I wrote several letters to her in the past concerning the WCG.

I was a member of the WCG from [dates removed.] Did I consider myself a genuine believer while yet a member? One thing to realize is that the WCG made everyone think they weren't converted until baptized by one of their "true" ministers (and that one could lose salvation). However, I now believe that I was converted before the WCG as I remember accepting Christ when I was in grade school. And I never lost my faith during my time in the WCG, or after I came out.

Unfortunately, after the WCG had one under their mind-control, they were able to change and twist the concept and image of Christ. We never heard the words, "personal relationship with Christ," and it wasn't until 1993 or 1994 that the ministers started talking about a "personal relationship with God." However, I am hard pressed to find either terminology in the WCG's sermons and literature today. Something is very much lacking in this organization! The emphasis always has been, and still is, on "obedience to God" which actually translates into "obedience to the leader's words."

In view of this kind of oppressive system, it can be quite confusing to determine if there are those in the WCG that have "authentic faith in Christ." I feel it's best to look at it in regards to whether there was, or is, true fruit of the spirit in their lives--or just certain concepts that have been programmed into their minds. I do believe, though, that there were a few genuine believers, and I have talked to some exiters who feel that they were converted prior to their involvement or just a few years before they exited.

I do believe, however, that Christ is leading many of the true believers out of there. To remain inside the doors of the WCG allows one to continue being controlled and abused by a very spiritually unhealthy and corrupt organization. Only by coming out can they be truly free to grow in grace, as they should.

No, I don't think the changes are genuine. Anyone that is willing to research into how these changes were instigated will see that they were done with much deceit and lies. The leaders secretly went to the outside media and ministries as early as l988, telling them that the WCG had changed when, in fact, nothing could have been further from the truth. Tkach Sr., meanwhile, denied that he was even going to make any changes, calling it "rumors."

When Tkach Sr. did start the changes in January 1995, they were implemented with confusion, contradiction, and much abuse and blame placed on the members. (I have sermon tapes and literature confirming this.)

Tkach Sr., knowing full well about the doctrinal studies done by several WCG ministers back in the 70's (he was there at the time), has deceived the majority into believing he received all this "new truth" and "new understanding" from God alone, simply because he was following HWA's dying wishes and began "studying over the WCG's doctrines." At present, the WCG leaders are busy revising their history and have even stated on the radio that HWA was a "sincere Christian, dedicated to Christ." [Truths that Transform, with D. James Kennedy, 4-30-96 and 5-1-96.] And to top it all off, the WCG insists that "God is behind it all!" This is certainly not the example of Christ!

The reasons for the changes must also be taken into account. When it was evident that the old "Armstrongism" was not working as before, the leaders knew that to change the WCG's image from "cult" to a "mainstream Christian church" would eventually turn into a tremendous profit financially. The extent of the approval and praise they managed to generate from the public (and especially the majority of evangelical Christian ministries) was much more than they expected, and they are making sure that they use it to their full advantage--their motives not being the spiritual welfare of their members. (The ESN has detailed documentation on this.)

Yes, I believe the WCG is still a cult and that psychological coercion still exists in the new WCG. First of all, a cult is not just defined by doctrine, but by its behavioral methods of abuse that it uses on its members. Guilt, fear, blame, shame, manipulation, etc. are still prevalent in the sermons and in the church's newspaper, and hard-core discipling methods similar to those used by the International Church of Christ have begun. The members still associate the WCG with God and fear to leave or to do anything contrary to what Tkach tells them. In other words, they cannot think critically and are kept in a dependent state.

These people have never been told that they were in a cult or that HWA was preaching heresies. They have never had mind-control explained to them so that they can deprogram from it. They parrot everything the leaders say (I still write to one member in there), and if they are told (by the ministers) that everything is "wonderful," they believe it. The member you mentioned who contacted the Christian radio station was undoubtedly told to do it, as this is part of the propaganda. It is also typical that they would "praise Tkach Jr." How could they even begin to understand the bondage that they have been under without a thorough study of the organization and its methods, plus a true knowledge about the real Christ and His rest?

How has the WCG changed? And how have they remained the same? I have touched on that in this letter, but will mention several other things.

How they have changed:

  • No longer say they are the "one and only true Church"

  • Stated that they are a New Testament, Trinitarian church [however at this writing, members still didn't call God a Trinity]

  • Became a member of the NAE [National Association of Evangelicals]

  • Selling products through "Plain Truth Ministries"

  • Started "house churches" in some places

  • Started "speaking in tongues" in some places [Tkach Jr. also visited the Foursquare Gospel Church and this church service is on tape with ESN.]

  • Stated it is OK to observe Christmas and Easter

  • Stated it is OK to eat "unclean meats"

  • Format of services changed (shorter sermons, "praise" music)

  • Prophecy and return of Christ not emphasized anymore

  • British-Israelism not taught anymore

  • Members do not have to fast or stop working on Day of Atonement anymore

  • Preoccupation with bringing in new members (the members are now admonished to do this)

  • Membership down to 4-5,000 approximately

How they have stayed the same:

  • Still have a leader at the top (Tkach) dispensing information

  • Members still told how to think and what to do (controlled)

  • Unity still stressed

  • Questioning and doubt strongly discouraged

  • Emphasis still on "the church" more than on Christ

  • Still meet on Saturday and told it is their "duty" to attend

  • Still admonished to tithe or give as much as they can

  • Still keep the Feast of Tabernacles and the other Holy Days

  • Emphasis still on "obedience and service"

  • Haven't taught members to believe in going to "heaven" or "hell"

  • Haven't taught members to believe in an "immortal soul"

  • Haven't renounced their "2nd resurrection" belief (where they were taught by HWA that all would have a "chance for salvation" someday.)

  • Guilt, blame, fear and abuse of every kind still being used

  • A gap between what's going on inside and the picture given to the public

To sum it all up, I believe the WCG is only using the name of Jesus Christ as a "front" to further their agenda of power and greed. Lies have been mixed with the truth and the undiscerning have been caught unawares. Anyone who questions them is discredited.

Thank you for writing, and I will be glad to answer any other questions that you may have. If you do choose to quote me, please do not use my name.

Sincerely in Christ,

D. Williams

Update: What in the World is Worldwide Church of God Doing Now?

Letter #5 from Adams to ESN
[all emphasis ours]:

John Stuart Adams, 1039 State Route 49 Cleveland, NY 13042

November 24, 1997

Dear D.,

I appreciate the information I received from you and the Exit & Support Network.

I did indeed write the article in August as I had told you. The only problem was that Revive wanted more of a feel good-article and my take on the Worldwide Church of God was a bit more cautious. They wanted me to rewrite the piece and
essentially gloss over my apprehensions.

I felt that while there were many positive and appealing aspects to the WCG story, some things just don't ring true. For example, I just can't get over the fact that
neither Tkach nor anyone else that I've talked to will come right out and call Armstrong a heretic or a false teacher. It's always "Mr. Armstrong" and he was at worst misguided or in error. An yet Paul's condemnation of such false teachers was not nearly so reserved, Galatians 1.

I could not in good conscience agree to make the massive changes they had requested, so I asked that they just kill the story. I submitted it to another publication, The Baptist Bulletin.

The Baptist Bulletin seems to be interested and they've requested that I lengthen it a bit so that they can put it in a series of articles on "critical issues."

So as it stands right now I'm still working on the piece. And now that Tkach's book Transformed by Truth is out, I thought I'd make use of it.

I'd like to call you some time and ask you what you think of Tkach's book. I still have your number.

God Bless you,

John S. Adams

Letter #6 from ESN to Adams:

December 19, 1997

John S. Adams
1039 State Route 49
Cleveland, NY 13042

Dear Mr. Adams,

I wanted to follow up with you since our last phone conversation.

If these new changes have improved the church as much as they are now telling outsiders, then there wouldn’t be all the ones that are leaving and attending other Christian churches. It’s evident these members could not stay because of one or more reasons: the abuses still going on, the authoritarian structure, the lies that they uncovered about Herbert Armstrong, the corrupt past history of the church, or a definite lack of the full gospel about Christ’s true nature being preached in their local congregations.

It is documented that the Worldwide Church of God went to the media first with their announcement of being orthodox on certain doctrines before they even discussed it with the membership. The Founder of the Exit & Support Network assures me that the time line in Tkach’s book is twisted and has lies in it. I have enclosed several articles for you to read. One is a transcript of a tape aired in 1990 where a WCG spokesman was telling his audience the WCG is "not an exclusive body," and "we do not deny the divinity of the Holy Spirit." (We members certainly had none of this being taught to us!)

Two magazine articles from 1992 were what were sent to me from CRI. (I was still in the WCG, yet confused about some things that were being changed like birthdays, etc.) These articles caused me to wonder why Tkach Sr. was not telling us members about all these "changes" that were supposedly going on. We were still being told on the inside that outside Christians did not have the true knowledge that we did about what we were learning. This caused me to uncover how much information they had been hiding from the members.

In early 1994 Tkach Sr. and his ministers were still telling us that outside Christians did not have the true knowledge about the new doctrines (we were first told it was "new truth," then "new understanding") was never called "doctrine") we were starting to learn ("born again" being one of them). While the leaders were telling the media we were becoming "Trinitarian," the ministry never used the word, "Trinity" with the members. In fact that same year several "nature of God" teaching tapes were the only thing members were hearing. Back then and to this day the word Trinity is still not used in the WCG’s member newspaper. They instead use the words, "the Triune God."

While they "slowly" made their changes on the inside, they continually kept up with the double-talk and placing of guilt and blame on the members. Since this abuse and cognitive dissonance was even coming from Tkach Sr. himself (especially in his "Christmas Eve Sermon" of 1994) it doesn’t hold up for Tkach Jr. to say that not all the ministers yet understood about how to treat their flock.

The video and taped version of this "Christmas Eve" sermon is different than quoted in the Worldwide Newspaper and in Transformed by Truth. Here are some of the actual comments Sr. made in that sermon:

"We are not preaching once saved, always saved." "God instituted a brainwashing program." Abusive comments--and even spoken with a loud voice--were: "We don’t receive the Holy Spirit by obeying Him. How dumb can we be! God gives His Spirit to obey Him. HWA was shocked this was happening as doctrine of the WCG!" "Our desire is to obey the law. We will obey because we are saved." "God expects more than a tithe." "Our relatives thought we were a cult." [he never tells the members they were a cult.] "The New Covenant requires greater sacrifice. The Sabbath [and] Ten Commandments form the core of the old covenant. Are we saying we aren’t going to? No! It is transformed to be kept in a different way. The Bible doesn’t say it was changed to Sunday. Christ showed how we should kept it [the Sabbath]." "Our desire ought to be greater to meet on the Sabbath because Christ set the example." " If some don’t keep the Sabbath, that is their loss!" "Disarm any rumors that we are doing away with the Sabbath and changing it to Sunday." He even held up Global Church of God’s magazine (splinter of WCG) and shouted at the members that if they want to "go back to legalism" that is "fine!" At another point he started shouting again and said, "Do we want to be healed of the stupidity and ignorance that we had?! At another place he said, God knew we couldn't keep the law. If we believe that, he will say to us someday, "You dummy!" [Update: Rod Meredith, founder of Global, later founded Living Church of God in 1998.]

As you can see from just a few of the above quotations, the actual video was far different than Jr. likes outsiders to think. (I do have two cassettes of the video.)

[UPDATE 2005: This transcript of Joseph Tkach Sr.'s video was posted on WCG's website for awhile, until we made a notice that it was different than the original taped sermon because major statements of blame on the members were left out. This video has since been mysteriously "misplaced" from their church library. ESN has taped copies.]

Another interesting thing is that in 1994 I went back over the new WCG hymnal that had just been passed out to us members at the 1993 Feast of Tabernacles. To my astonishment I saw how the leaders had twisted the words of at least ten of the new songs, e.g. Onward, Christian Soldiers, I Am Thine O Lord, etc. and with others they omitted refrains and added their own words. In the rest of the songs--mostly the same WCG songs we always sang with a few made-up ones--the Holy Spirit, Christ, and grace are barely mentioned. How could this be the mind of those that are truly repentant? [Read: How the WCG Changed the Original Words of Sacred Hymns to see exact examples.]

I am also enclosing the two Bible Answer Man tapes (with Hank Hanegraaff) that you said you’d be interested in hearing. They are filled with so much double talk and lies that one must be very discerning and informed to listen to them. (One big lie continues to be how they state how many members they had and still have.) The truth is that the leaders of the WCG can be compared to hard-core "con-artists," and we all know that many of them are sociopaths. They are themselves the authors of cognitive dissonance to this day! (I enclosed my comments concerning the tapes.)

Two others ministries that may be interested in publishing your article, and that you could write to are: Christian News (they publish The Reformation Banner), Box 168, New Haven, MO 63068; and George W. Bailey, The Ohio Bible Fellowship Visitor, 3865 North High St., Columbus, OH 43214-3797 (614) 262-2006.

Do you have an e-mail address that I could pass on to the ESN?

All of us in the Exit & Support Network will be looking forward to reading your article and I hope it helps many others to be more discerning. Thank for your contacting us and feel free to do so anytime.

Sincerely in Christ,

D. Williams

Letter #7 from ESN to Adams:

March 25, 1998

John S. Adams
1039 State Route 49
Cleveland, NY 13042

Dear Mr. Adams:

I am writing on behalf of the Exit & Support Network (ESN). We were just wondering if you were ever able to get your article on the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) published (e.g. in The Baptist Bulletin), and was it accepted favorably. If so, would you be so kind as to forward a copy to the ESN or myself? Thank you very much.

The ESN has read Tkach's book, Transformed by Truth, and found it filled with many untruths and distortions. A 17-page critique on the book was done by ESN and the founder of ESN wrote an eleven-page article that focuses just on chapter 2. If you are interested, I can send these to you.

I hope to hear back from you soon, and may the Lord continue to bless your writings.

Very sincerely,

D. Williams

Letter #8 from Adams to ESN:

May 1, 1998

Dear D.,

In response to your March 25 letter. No I haven't forgotten you and yes I'll send you a copy of my Worldwide Church of God article as soon as it comes out.

I've been getting kind of impatient myself so I called up the editor of the Baptist Bulletin in Chicago this morning and got the latest.

The article will be published in the July issue. Glad I'm not depending on the paycheck. They're putting it in a series on so-called "critical issues." I don't know where it falls in the series, but July does seem a bit long to wait, especially since I sent them the final draft in December.

Hang in there.

God bless you,

John S. Adams

Letter #9 from Adams to ESN [all emphasis ours]:

July 18, 1998

Dear D.,

At last here's the long awaited WCG article I've promised. I protected your identity and gave you [a] fictional name.

I know that you believe there to be a conspiracy behind the changes at the 'WCG , but I didn't feel that I had enough evidence to make those charges. I did have a revealing telephone conversation with Greg Albrecht. I brought up issues you and others had raised and
he got pretty feisty and defensive. I would have expected a bit more contrition for having led so many people astray.

I'd be interested to hear your comments.

God bless you,

John S. Adams

Letter #10 from ESN to Adams:

August 21, 1998

John S. Adams
1039 State Route 49
Cleveland, NY 13042

Dear Mr. Adams,

Thank you for sending me your recently published article on the Worldwide Church of God. You asked for my comments.

I feel the article covered important points, especially about the abusive authoritarian structure and the lack of accountability (the quote by M. Kurt Godelman was good). However, I was hoping to read much more concerning the many lives that have been destroyed by this cult. Your conversation with Greg Albrecht does not surprise me, as many times he has shown his true colors in not exhibiting a contrite attitude.

On pg. 26 you said, "the leadership today is composed of many of the same men who had taught heresy not so long ago." I don't know how old this quote is, but many of the top evangelists and ministers are no longer around as they were disfellowshipped starting in 1995. Most of the ministers in the WCG today are new, knowing hardly anything about the WCG's horrific past, except for what they have been told by the present leaders.

Concerning Transformed by Truth, anyone that has been in the WCG for any length of time know of the gross untruths and distortions found in this book. For instance, there never was a "Christmas Eve Sermon" in 1994. This sermon was given around the end of December, but when the video was shown to the members, it was dated January 7, 1995, and when it was printed in the Worldwide News, the date given was January 10th! This term "Christian Eve" was used to gain favor with the outside Christian establishment.

You mentioned that David Covington operates the Crossroads Online. Was there some reason why the Exit & Support Network's website was not also mentioned? The Exit & Support Network now has the largest known archive on the WCG, and this has been the result of many laborious hours of research. Our active ministry of support and research has aided thousands in their recovery from this destructive organization. We feel that the Lord has truly guided and blessed our efforts and labors these past four years!

I understand that L. A. talked with you for over an hour and a half and mentioned that she has talked with many investigators, lawyers, judges, and psychologists that would confirm that the "church" part is only a front. It is no "conspiracy" to find out that facets of this organization are involved in [other activities besides religion] and their changes were a very necessary "corporate move" to benefit the leaders financially! There are abundant facts on the true story of the WCG for any that are willing to do the research.

In conclusion, the article left me with the feeling that there was a mixture of good and bad in the WCG but the leaders appear to be on the right track with God truly working with them. Unfortunately, we cannot agree with this. In spite of the WCG's "correct doctrines," I would not go back in it for anything. Too many have been, and are still being, exploited and abused "in the name of Christ"!

The good Lord willing, the ESN is hoping to do a thorough exposé of this fraudulent organization and their "move to mainstream Christianity."

We pray for your continued discernment.

Very Sincerely,

D. Williams
